I just got her! She is an absolute beauty (as far as hippo's go!).
She does however have a couple of minor problems like a knackered electric window in the back - strangely not the boot window! - though the motor does work the window doesn't move. The clock is a bit dodgy, the wipers are a bit too intermittent on the intermittent setting , she's also a little damp in the toolbox area & occasionally locks using the plip (but unlocks fine using it!).
Guess I should have been a bit more thorough with the test drive but as far as I can tell these minor niggles are nothing too uncommon for an X reg Freelander & certainly seem to be easy enough for even a novice such as me to fix - looking at the forums here (and of course a Haynes manual).

All in all, I'm quite pleased if that's all that's wrong with it, especially as my Rover was very much on it's last legs!

Hi fella! Have fun here. They're mostly a goo dbunch (if a littlesensetive sometimes!) Just remember Pay and Play refers to plaing offroad and PAYING for the damage. At least it does if you are doing it right!

    Congrats, Micky.
The damp toolbox problem has been discussed many times on the freelander forum so do a search there, equally the window problem is fairly common and a search will help you.

On an interesting note, the remote central locking seems to have sorted itself out! She'll now unlock & lock using the remote! That's one tiny niggle down not that many to go!

Some problems the Dos of LR solve for free... others take a little more prayer!
