    Default 6x9 speakers

Any ideas where i can position 2 6x9 speakers in my series 3. I do not want too remove the middle seat. Does anyone have any pictures of their series 3 with speakers? just trying too find the best possible whereabouts...

I have a pair Behind my cuby box. But that would probably require removal of the centre seat.

    There are other options..
    1. Build a wooden console in the roof to hold the stereo and 6x9's Conkers on here has that set up and its blinking good.
    2. You can mount them in the rear tub, in the corners behinf the front seats facing up.
    3. Again if its a hard top in the rear top corners is a good place.
Depends what you use the vehicle for really.. I had to keep mine out of the tub as it carries lots of scrap and wood and such!

Mine are mounted just behind the rear bulkhead and the side mounted bench seats. They were put in by the PO with a wooden box for them to sit in (as far as I can remember thats not standard on an SIII SWB). Cables are then fed through behind the middle seat into the cubby box where I have my stereo mounted.

could you not fit them on the under side of the dash so each speaker is over the footwells.

ive got a set of 12x 8 out of a bentley try finding somewhere they will fit.

get some mdf and build a pod to attach to door cards, although may need to be brought out a few extra inches to fit speakers.
