    Default Serengettit/Kalahari Badges

Just wondering - has anyone else here ever seen a Serengetti/Kalahari edition with the "unique badging" that they are supposed to have just beneath the A-pillar?

I only ask because when I picked mine up last year the dealer said that Land Rover don't put them on. I've only ever seen 2 with them at all but a lot of Freelanders without any trim level badges.

Was wondering if they were just GS/ES spec without trim badges, but mine is listed as a Serengetti on the V5 though, just no badge.

Just been playing on my mind recently so I thought I'd ask you blokes! Its going in for a service in a few weeks (and to have the damn air-con recharged) so if anyone had a part number to order that would be useful!

Yeah, I know people in the club with both .. AFAIK they should have them, ditton the 'sport'. Often you can ask to have them removed, but never heard of them not being there in the first place. Maybe dealers are supposed to put them on and someone half-inches them to sell on e-bay ?

I purchased a new Serengeti in 2002 and specifically asked for the badges not to be placed on the car. I think they look cheap. This week I pick up another Serengeti in Zambezi Silver and I've asked the dealer to take the badges off. I suppose it's personal preference but I think most people decided to go without the badges.

Ah, so its your fault then!

No sign of any on ebay so I'll just have to go without!

Maybe I'll console myself with some of thos General Grabber AT2s I saw on LRO Project Freelander...
