    Default Sloppy Td5 gear lever

    Evening,

Whilst out driving yesterday I noticed something didn't feel right with the gear stick. It suddenly felt rather sloppy, instead of sitting nice and central now it wobbles side to side when in neutral. This makes changing from 5th to 4th a bit tricky, as the little gate (that stops you going from 5th to reverse) that drops with a little 'snick' will only do so once the lever is in central possition. I've had the gator off and the foam insert out to reveal the bias springs. Upon inspection the bolts below the springs are wound down as far as they will go (due to the locking nuts) so not sure what next?

Sorry should have addded that my vehicle is a Defender, not a Disco. I beleive the gear lever set differs between Defender & Disco. Disco has the Bias plate where as the Defender has the FRC7155 turret assembly.
