    Default TD5 alarm

The alarm keeps going off when I lock up. No trouble untill I used my new key.
    Any ideas?
Still goes off when I use the old key.
Only the drivers door has been opened when I went to the chippy.

I had a problem with my 300 Tdi alarm turned out it was a dodgy bonnet sensor and the fact that an after Market alarm
Had been I'ncorrectly fitted reprogrammed the orginal fob factory fit alarm works now and no more alarm going off check the sensors and might be worth programming the Fobs and see if that works
if its not broken leave it alone
if its stop leaking then its empty

Do you mean a single "honk" as you lock, or the full fanfare?

If the former, find what sensor is "open" - e.g. it thinks one of the doors isn't properly shut, or the bonnet is popped.

If the latter - I wonder if the new key has been properly "programmed" into the BCU. Does the old key still work normally?

I wonder if it is just frozen. Even the keys won't turn in the door.

Not the horn but the siren going off and the old key doesn't work either.
