Default TD5 110 Fuel Light on. Gauge showing Empty. Full tank ?

Anyone know if this is something simple to fix with a fuse or simply checking a connecting on a sensor wire ? Just happened over night. Appears to drive okay.

Cheers all. Second time tonight i have heard of floats ! I did find a broken wire (3 core) in a ridged cover not far from the spring holder. Will have a proper look in daylght. Gauge fucntions correctly when pump is primed so must be sensor.

One other thing to look for frozen snow around the connections on the fuel tank happened on my RRC some years ago cleared the problem as soon as I cleaned it up, sprayed with WD 40 never happened again even in Norway when I worked there. Good luck and Happy Christmas
