    Bonjour et bienvenue,

Leave the EGR vacuum pipe off!

If you search on here for EGR you will find that many folks disconnect the EGR to stop the dirty sooty exhaust mixing with the oily fumes from the turbo hoses and forming a black syrupy mess in the intake manifold and ducting.

People would have to clean that gunk out on a regular basis. So it's best to disable the EGR and keep everything clean. It's possible to go further and fit an EGR bypass to de-restrict the air-flow.

I am unsure of the French annual testing requirements but it is a possibility that you may have to reconnect the EGR to pass.

I'm sure that someone else on here will be able to advise you soon as to how to connect the necessary vacuum pipe to the turbo solenoid.

    A bientot, Katerschnurr.

The boost control solenoid vac pipe connections............. as you look at the fitted solenoid the top connection is the vacuum supply line from the vac chamber above the gearbox. The middle one goes to the turbo actuator (vnt not wastegate) and the bottom one is an atmospheric vent which should be routed up and secured near the Maf sensor housing with a little filter on its open end.

Ok, from memory, if you follow the main plastic servo vacuum pipe from the engine vac pump it should have a T connector for the pipe that connects to the front of the vac chamber.

A little further along the main servo pipe is a check valve with a branch for the vac supply to the EGR solenoid. This solenoid is mounted horizontally under the inlet manifold, as you look at it the supply pipe fits to the right connection (disconnecting and sealing this pipe will disable egr) and the left connection goes to the EGR valve.
