    Thanks for your advice I have checked some of those, not sure how to check the injectors and pump is that a specialist job or do you have a tip on the best way to check them.

    Just going by your performance figures and what I know my 109 does with 63 HP - a cruising speed of 55 and top speed of 62 - (with a camper roof) I would say your engine is producing somewhere between 40 and 50 hp which seems very low. What should it be delivering?
