A mate of mine has a S3 complete vehicle( with shagged chassis). FWhubs, O/d 2.5D. It's been stood for twelve months or so and is a trailer job. Can't vouch for wear & tear of components but was a runner when the MOT man started laughing. Shouldn't be expensive. It's in Sheffield, which, unless they've recently shifted it, isn't near Glasgi though. You want his details?

If your are still srugling, I've got a good series 3 gearbox, yours for £70, trouble is I'm in Coventry, about 6 hours south of glasgow!!
