Gearbox wanted

Anyone got a spare SIII gearbox? Somewhere near Glasgow would be nice.

A mate of mine has a S3 complete vehicle( with shagged chassis). FWhubs, O/d 2.5D. It's been stood for twelve months or so and is a trailer job. Can't vouch for wear & tear of components but was a runner when the MOT man started laughing. Shouldn't be expensive. It's in Sheffield, which, unless they've recently shifted it, isn't near Glasgi though. You want his details?

I have found someone in Glenrothes selling engine and 'box for £50. If thats no good, then I'll get back to you. I could pick it up on the way back from Billing.

If your are still srugling, I've got a good series 3 gearbox, yours for £70, trouble is I'm in Coventry, about 6 hours south of glasgow!!
