Ask any dodgy looking Irish fella.

There are some going cheap somewhere, 4 were nicked from a mates yard.

He rents out some of his yard for caravan storage, They took 4 twin axle caravans, and left all the single axle smaller vans.
Each of the vans were fitted with a combination of heavy duty wheel clamps and towball clamps which looked like they were putty by the time they had got them off.

Look on loot, mind you availabilty will be a problem in Scotland.
Try looking for Adria's, they made lovely twin axles, should get an 88/89 for that sort of money, damn sight better built than the uk crap as well.
Other than that contact local dealers and haggle hard!

I've tried dealer, but they all laughed at me when I told them what I wanted. I think they only sell new-ish 'vans round here. The odd thing is, all the dealers are on the east coast. None over here.

I have been looking on the Autotrader site, and a couple have come up, but either sold quick, or too far away.

Theres a twin axle adria on Loot, just found it, £1650, located near Preston, bit of a trek though. I deliver the damn things all day long, if I see any cheap ones I'll give you a shout. Loads of ex gypo vans in the auto trade for around 2 grand, trouble is the police will constantly harrass you!

I'll have to make a sign for the back that reads "NOT A PIKEY!" I have a Disco owning friend who drives trucks for a living. He was up the other week, when he told uu that has a big caravan which he lives in and follows the jobs. At that point we all shouted "PIKEY!" and ran off and locked our cars.

The promblem is you get the english Autotrader, I get the Scottish one, which had different 'vans in it.

Takes a bit of digging through though.
    Good luck

I've got a huge tent, but it still doesn't beat a caravan.

Obviously an ex- gypo van, but worth having at that price, just make sure its chassis numbers are intact, they are very handy with the angle grinder!!
Other than that check the running gear as it might not have moved for a while, Tabberts are well built vans though, thats why they like them.
