Hi i have to change the brake compensator valve as thier is fluid showing, i have a new valve to fit. Will brake pipe nuts be ok to undo.. Will brakes have to be bled.... any advice would be great.

never did it myself so i can not tell you about the nuts.....but i think that you must bleed for sure.

Yes, they will need bleeding. Can't remember off hand, but some have a bleed nipple on them. (could be the Shogun I did recently though....
) do that first, then the pipes to the calipers/drums.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, the trouble is, yours is ridiculous.
Thanks again for your help brake valve now changed, brake pipes undone ok and brakes do have to be bled.
