    Default Free Camping Gaz Stove

Recalling the effects my last post had when I had a freebie to give away, I'm a little cautious in mentioning I have a Camping Gaz Globetrotter stove going free if anyone wants it.

You might have trouble finding gas bottles for it - I couldn't find any. But perhaps all it needs is someone with a bit of knowledge to put a different connector on it or make an adaptor or something.

It is a belting little stove so first come first has it.

I'll pop it in the post to whoever shouts first for it.

Surely it just takes the normal little blue canisters. Looks pretty much like an older version of mine. There is a spike on the bottom of the gas tube isn't there, unlike the newer screw on grey ones.

Yes it works by puncturing the canister. It isn't a screw on one. The blue canisters were a little shorter than the average ones you see nowadays (it was a light-weight back-packing stove).

I still use the disposable blue canisters, so will have it as a spare if no one wants it as a 'first one' (what is somethingthat ian't a spare??)

I couldn't get any anywhere, hunted all the shops, the camping press, camping forums etc. They just don't seem to do the shorter ones that this stove requires.

I've got a Coleman F1 now, and it is brilliant. I think you could weld with it.
