Default K & N Filters

I wonder if anybody has experience of K&N filters as a replacement for the element in a 300TDi. Better fuel consumption, better performance etc.

Thanks in advance for replies!

Had a 300Tdi disco, john. Boring aren't they!!
I'd think that the standard fit filter lets enough air in, as it's quite a large volume filter.
Is your intercooler clean?? Mud etc in the cooling vanes seriously reduces performance.
